Daily hair routine and tips


✅ 1. Scalp Massage (5 mins daily)

Why: Boosts blood flow to the scalp and stimulates hair follicles.

How:

Use your fingers or a scalp massager

Massage in circular motions

Optional: Use a little oil (see next step)


Good Oils: Castor oil, rosemary oil, coconut oil, or peppermint oil (mix a few drops with a carrier oil)

✅ 2. Moisturize Daily or Every Other Day

Why: Dry hair breaks easily. Keeping it hydrated reduces breakage.

Use a daily moisturizer or DIY mix:

Water + leave-in conditioner in a spray bottle

Light oil (like argan, jojoba) to seal in moisture

✅ 3. Protective Styling

Why: Reduces manipulation and breakage.

Examples:

Braids, twists, buns, cornrows, or wigs (ensure your hair underneath is moisturized)

Avoid tight styles that pull the edges

Don’t flat iron or blow-dry daily

Let your hair air-dry

Sleep with a satin/silk bonnet or on a satin pillowcase

Hair grows from the inside too!

Drink 6–8 glasses of water daily

Eat protein-rich foods (eggs, fish, beans, nuts)

Add iron, zinc, and vitamins A, C, and biotin
